Cheryl has trailered horses for me on two separate occasions.  I fully intend to use her each and every time I need to move a horse.  She is experienced, knowledgeable, and very competent.  In addition, her truck and trailer can’t be beat.  The three horse slant load has both a tack room and a separate compartment at the back w/saddle racks.  There is also an awning that can be set up on the left side of the trailer.  Just this past weekend, Cheryl hauled my mare to Westford, MA for a hunter show.  She knew that my classes would be spread out, but was more than happy to spend the day at the show, helping out in any way that she could.  She set up the awning and put out chairs and a mounting block.  Overall, her service went above and beyond any that I expected.

Cheryl has a lot of varied experience with horses, but perhaps her most valuable is her time spent at the racetrack.  I believe that this gave her a real understanding of horses and how they think/react in all kinds of situations.  I am certain that, if you trailer with her, there is nothing that could come up that would faze her in the least.  She is a very capable horse handler, and – as she owns horses of her own- she really understands how we want our animals treated.  I find Cheryl Kelly to be honest, hardworking, and quick-thinking.  In short, I like her a great deal and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to ship their horses. A little over a month ago I hired Cheryl Kelley from  CK's Horse Transport in Derry, NH to transport a horse I bought in NH to my home in Berkley, MA. She responded to my post on equinesite.com.  I have to say that I was a little nervous in having someone transport my horse that I did not know. But after our coversations by email and over the phone she made me feel that she was very confident to do the job.

She was very professional and patient with my horse.  I had told her that my horse was tough to load and she said that she had all the time in the world and she would let him get on in his own time.  She called me once he was loaded and also spoke to me a couple of times while in transport.  She made me feel very at ease.

We used Cheryl's service to move our gelding Dylan from Connecticut to his new home in Massachusetts.  My daughter set up the trip with Cheryl and everything went like clockwork.   Her rig is wonderful and very well maintained, and she took the time to get him comfortable.  She even inquired about what type of hay he got so that what he rode with would not make him sick, and it was decided to move him with hay from home.  Her attention to detail was fantastic, especially since the horse had not been off the property for two years and had been at the same barn for 10 of his 15 years.  I followed the trailer and she handled the rig professionally and carefully.  Upon arrival, she unloaded him for us and stayed to be sure he had his sea legs and settled in okay.
